A traditional farmhouse reinvented in the countryside near Mulmur, Ontario. Complex planning was required to achieve the look of a simple structure. Soaring spaces over the kitchen and living room are offset by efficiently planned bedrooms and bathrooms in the adjoining building volume. Thoughtfully placed windows maximize the view to the countryside beyond. Outdoor decks installed close to grade maintain the focus on the beautiful form of the buildings. The architect has been rightfully acknowledged on multiple platforms for this incredible building
